Cindy Lewis - Head of Air Crew
Cindy Lewis with over 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry, heads up Aircrew Management in Flybe taking care of the amazing pilot and cabin crew community to provide exceptional customer service. Prior to joining Flybe Cindy had her first operational flight as Cabin Crew at 18 years old with Air Europe and in her career progressed into training then management with various airlines before joining Flybe in 2010 as Regional Cabin Crew Manager progressing to Director Cabin Services. Cindy has been heavily involved in the operational set up of the new business to take Flybe to great heights and has the privilege of recruiting our fabulous Aircrew community…the key to creating the WOW factor on every flight! Cindy’s father worked for Rolls Royce engines most of his working career and was part of the Concorde engine design team, aviation is in her blood! |
Richard Rendell BA(Hons) MCIPD – Director of People
Richard is a seasoned aviation HR professional with over 30 years working experience in a number of airlines in various HR roles including Aer Lingus, British Airways, Etihad Airways, IAG Group and laterally Royal Brunei Airlines, where he was Chief People and Performance Officer. One of Richard’s many achievements was the formation of BA CitiExpress from BA Regional, BRAL, Brymon and Manx Airways and brings a great deal of regional operator experience to our business. Richard followed his passion in aviation by becoming a commercial pilot and flying the A321 for Air Mediterranean based in Paris, France. About Flybe Launched in April 2022, Flybe Ltd is one of the UK’s newest airlines. The company operates flights throughout the UK and EU with more routes commencing in the coming months and years ahead. Flybe expects to play an increasingly important role creating valuable jobs, connecting communities, and helping restart local economies across the UK as it grows. Flybe’s planned fleet of 32 fast, quiet, and CO2-efficient Dash 8-400 planes are almost as fast as regional jets, but they are quieter and emit 35% less CO2 on a per seat basis. flybe.com |
Roger Martin-Fagg BA Hons
Roger began his career as an Economist with the New Zealand Treasury in 1972, then as Economist to the UK Air Transport and Travel Industry Industrial Training Board. In 1977 he was asked to design and run a postgraduate programme in Airline Management for British Airways which ran very successfully for 10 years at Thames Valley University. In 1987 he joined Henley Management College to design, deliver and teach bespoke stra-tegic management programmes. This he did for 21 years covering all sectors, but with an emphasis on Financial Services, House builders and newly privatised Utilities. For the past thirteen years, Roger has worked as an Independent Behavioural Economist. He has been External Examiner at The University of Bath, and visiting faculty at the Bank of England, Institute of Marketing, Bath, Warwick and Duke Business Schools He specialises in making economics accessible for non-economists and helping boards think through their Strategy. He leads workshops, seminars, and delivers keynote ses-sions. He has worked in the USA, Middle East, Russia and SE Asia. His book Making Sense of the Economy is in its fourth reprint, and he publishes a quarter-ly economic update which is read by 1200 Chief Executives. He has a reputation for making the complex simple, producing accurate forecasts, and is one of a few Economists with a keen sense of humour. In his spare time he is a Veteran Oarsman at Marlow Rowing Club and plays keyboards in a Rock Band. |
